Friday the 25th of April was ANZAC Day here in Australia. We are humbled by the actions of all past and present service men and women.
I forgot to take my camera to our local parade in Buderim, so I am posting pictures from The Courier Mail showing scenes from various ANZAC parades.

All wars and conflicts are represented at ANZAC parades.

After the parade, there is usually an ANZAC service which includes the haunting sound of the bugle playing The Last Post, and Rouse.
The Ode
This is the verse of the ode that is said during the minutes of silence on ANZAC Day:
They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest we Forget
